This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for the paid services on Chukty: (a) collaboration payments between brands and creators, and (b) Chukty's own paid promotional services â Profile Boosting and Get Featured. Because Chukty currently coordinates payments manually (via bKash, with bank transfer planned), refunds are also processed manually by our team rather than automatically.
When a brand pays for a collaboration, Chukty holds and coordinates that payment until the agreed deliverable is completed, based on status updates from both the brand and the creator. If a collaboration is cancelled before the creator has started work and before payment has been marked as released, the brand may request a full refund of the amount paid to Chukty for that collaboration. If work has already been completed and delivered as agreed, payment already released to a creator is generally not refundable to the brand, since it compensates completed work.
If there is a genuine disagreement about whether agreed deliverables were completed, either party should contact Chukty support so an administrator can review the collaboration request and negotiation history before a payment is released or refunded.
A Profile Boost request that is still Pending Payment or has not yet moved to Processing/Running can be cancelled for a full refund of any amount already paid. Once a boost has moved to Running (Chukty has begun actively promoting the profile on its social channels), refunds are only available on a pro-rated basis for the remaining, not-yet-delivered portion of the promotion period, at Chukty's discretion, unless the promotion was not delivered as described.
A Get Featured placement request that is still Pending Payment can be cancelled for a full refund. Once a placement has been activated (is live on the homepage or Find Creators page), refunds are handled on a pro-rated basis for the remaining active period, at Chukty's discretion, unless the placement was not delivered as described.
You may cancel any pending (not-yet-started) collaboration, Profile Boost, or Get Featured request at any time by contacting Chukty support or, where available, using the cancel option in your dashboard. If no payment has been made yet, no refund is needed. If a payment reference has already been submitted but the service has not started, Chukty will process a full refund once payment is confirmed as received and the cancellation is confirmed.
For services already in progress (an accepted collaboration where the creator has begun work, an active Profile Boost, or an active Featured placement), cancellations are handled case-by-case. Chukty will consider factors such as how much of the service has already been delivered and whether either party is at fault, and will communicate the outcome directly to both parties involved.
To request a refund, contact Chukty support at support@chukty.com or through the Contact page, including the request/transaction details and the reason for your refund request. Our team will review the relevant request, negotiation, and payment history before responding.
Because payments are currently processed manually, approved refunds are typically issued back to the original payment method (e.g., bKash) within 5â10 business days of approval. This timeline will be updated once an automated payment gateway is integrated.
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may ask for the matter to be reviewed by a Chukty administrator, who will consider the full negotiation and request history for that collaboration or service before making a final decision.
